Terms and conditions of use refer to the ‘4 EYES OPTICAL’ Website and by Using the Website/Services You Agree to Abide by the following “Terms and Conditions!” These "Terms and Conditions" apply to everyone who uses our services.


The names: “4 EYES OPTICAL”, “4eyesoptical.com.au”, “We”, “Our” or “Us” refers to The Owners/Operators of “4 EYES OPTICAL” "4 Eyes Optical" also trades as "Frames 4 Eyes Optical" INNISFAIL, QLD, 4860, AUSTRALIA. ABN:  79 774 921 122


To purchase any products from or through the “4 EYES OPTICAL” Website, You Agree to the following:

(A) You are purchasing glasses for yourself! Each person has to have their own account to save possible confusion and misunderstanding, which may result in a longer processing time. All contact details need to be current and correct.

(B) You understand that the lenses used throughout the site are the best quality available in Australia for their price range! If you have a preferred lens or any special requirements you will need to contact us to discuss this prior to ordering.                               

(C) Your prescription details supplied to “4 EYES OPTICAL” are less than 2 years old and are obtained from an authorized Australian Optometrist. We use the details on your prescription to make your lenses! "4 Eyes Optical" will not be held responsible for incorrect prescription details.

(D) You understand that your lenses will be made to the requirements that you have stipulated throughout your order. If you are unsure of what your existing lenses are or what options they may have, please contact 4 Eyes Optical prior to placing an order. Due to the nature of lenses and personal requirements, lenses can not be reused.

(E) If you intend to use your own frame, please be aware that not all frames are straightforward. We access each frame on arrival. If you have stated the incorrect frame option in your order, or if we find that the frame is outside the normal requirements we will inform you. In some instances, certain lens materials are required and fitting may have to be done at our lens manufacturer in Sydney, which would incur additional costs. We will inform you if there are any issues before proceeding, so please make sure your contact details are correct.

(F) Your frame is or to the best of your knowledge of optical quality! They can handle the pressure/heat required to remove and refit optical-quality lenses. "4 Eyes Optical" will treat all frames with the utmost care and respect. It is not our responsibility should the frame break or be damaged due to it not being of optical quality. If the frame is broken or damaged upon receiving them, you will be notified. You may also be charged a repair fee of $30.00 should your frame need extensive work done to it. You will be advised of this before we commence work. All care should be given to your frames when you send them to us. They should be in a hard case or box with sufficient packing around the frame for protection. Please include a copy of your order, all necessary contact details if they are not present on the order form, and all necessary information regarding each frame, should you order more than one pair of lenses and or frames. We will not take responsibility for frames that are damaged when we receive them.

(G) You understand that the processing time starts from the time we receive your frames. Or from the time you order frames and lenses. Our processing time is generally 7 - 10 working days from the time we receive your frames and or completed order (This time frame does not include weekends, as our manufacturers/suppliers are local and do not work on the weekends. This time frame also depends on your prescription and lens requirements and or optional extras). Once your order is completed we send the glasses back to you via express post which can take up to three days to get to you. We will update your order and send an AusPost Tracking Number once this has happened.

(H) You may be required to seek adjustments to your frames if they do not sit correctly on your face. We use a standard method to ensure that your frames are level when the refitting or reglazing of lenses is completed. We also adjust the arms horizontally if they are wider apart than necessary. We do not touch temple tips or nose pads on metal frames as we are aware that if you are using an existing frame, they have been adjusted to suit your requirements prior to us receiving them. These adjustments can only be made in person. Adjustments should be free from your local optical store or optometrist.

(I) We request that you reach out to us within a reasonable time frame (2 weeks) should you have an issue with the lenses. 95% of the time the issue lies with the submitted prescription details. We will require the complete glasses and original prescription details to be sent back to us for assessment. We will replace the lenses FREE of charge if it is found that we/our manufacturer have made the lenses incorrectly. If it is discovered that we have made them correctly, we will suggest that you have your eyes retested. If the prescription details are different from that you supplied, as a show of good faith, we will replace the lenses for half price. Please contact us for more information.

(J) If you decide to write a negative review without taking the appropriate measures, you understand that we will take appropriate legal action if the information you have posted is incorrect and or defamatory. We pride ourselves on customer satisfaction and will work with our customers to resolve any issues they have with products supplied by us. If you do not reach out to us to discuss the issue, you are dismissing your rights and accept that we will pursue you through legal means. We request that we be given 30 days' notice to correct the issue prior to a negative review being posted. If this is not honored, you are dismissing the opportunity to resolve issues internally. At this time we will seek legal action.

(K) You agree not to sell products purchased through the “4 EYES OPTICAL” website.

(L) Your prescription details supplied to “4 EYES OPTICAL” are true and correct, to the best of your knowledge.

(M) Your prescription details supplied to “4 EYES OPTICAL” in Your Order were obtained from a Registered Optometrist.

(N) You are over the age of 18 years and are NOT ordering Glasses/Spectacles for persons under the age of 18 years unless you are the Authorized Parent or Guardian.

(O) You are not Registered as Blind or Partially Sighted.

(P) You are the purchaser and are legally permitted to purchase goods or services.


(A)  If you have not received your glasses/spectacles within 14 days you must notify “4 EYES OPTICAL” via our ‘Contact Us’ options on our Website!  You will also be required to submit a notification in writing!

(B)  Once the purchase of your glasses/spectacles has been accepted by “4 EYES OPTICAL”, and payment is received ownership (or title) to your glasses/spectacles passes to you at this time.

(C) At the time of dispatch/shipping possession of glasses/spectacles passes to you. Additional postage options can be added to your shipping! You would need to contact us to arrange this! Payment for these options is not included in the standard cart shipping. Extra payment is required.  The risk of Damage or Loss through postage also passes to you at this point.

(D) All costs associated with the return of products for warranty claim including postage are your responsibility and will not be refunded by “4 EYES OPTICAL”.

(E)  Any refund or warranty claims must be made within 30 days of the time of dispatch!  Except for faulty manufacturing claims, these carry a 1-year warranty.

(F) It is the Purchaser's responsibility to check the Glasses/Spectacles on arrival!  In the event that there is a manufacturing problem or Glasses/Spectacles are not what you ordered you must notify “4 EYES OPTICAL” via our ‘Contact Us' options on our website and written confirmation will be required within  30 days.  “4 EYES OPTICAL” will not recognize any claim if not notified within the required time or if the glasses have been worn.


(A) You cannot cancel an offer to purchase once such an offer to purchase has been presented to “4 EYES OPTICAL”.

(B) “4 EYES OPTICAL” reserves the right to reject any offer to purchase without notice or justification! In such an event any monies paid shall be refunded in full! To the Purchaser.

C) “4 EYES OPTICAL” reserves the right to reject any purchase order received from previous purchasers who have previously made Non-Warranty Claims.


Any refusal to accept delivery of Glasses/Spectacles ordered by you will result in further action!  “4 EYES OPTICAL” reserves the right to claim further costs as may be required! No refund or compensation will be offered or forthcoming.


(A) “4 EYES OPTICAL” reserves the right to Change, Alter, Add, or Delete content that is relevant to and is contained within these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice.

(B) All Emails and Correspondence received or sent to “4 EYES OPTICAL” are retained for future reference of the initiating client and to fulfill legal requirements.

(C) The description of merchandise found on the “4 EYES OPTICAL” Website is true and correct to the best of our knowledge!  There may be variations to such descriptions and or specifications and such variations do not render your purchase invalid.

(D) To enable “4 EYES OPTICAL” to comply with the anti-spam legislation now in force in Australia and other countries you agree to allow “4 EYES OPTICAL” to send you emails related to “4 EYES OPTICAL” which may include some promotional material.


(A) “4 EYES OPTICAL” does not accept responsibility for any loss suffered by you because of your reliance upon the information contained in the “4 EYES OPTICAL” Web Site.

(B) “4 EYES OPTICAL” limit of liability extends to a refund of monies paid or replacement of goods purchased. Any other implied condition or warranty is hereby renounced.

(C) “4 EYES OPTICAL” does not accept liability in respect of any loss or damage howsoever suffered or incurred by you or others caused by or in relation to any product supplied through the “4 EYES OPTICAL” website.


(A) “4 EYES OPTICAL” offers a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase of the goods on manufacturer fault in frame production or customization of the lenses to the supplied optical prescription only.

(B) "4 EYES OPTICAL" reserves the right to assess lenses prior to any refunding of monies. If it is found that the lenses supplied and fitted by "4 EYES OPTICAL" do not match the prescription supplied by the customer, a replacement pair of lenses will be made. If it is found that the prescription lenses supplied and fitted by "4 EYES OPTICAL" are correct, the customer will have to have their eyes rechecked to make sure that the issue does not lie with the supplied prescription information. If the prescription has changed or is different from the one originally supplied to "4 EYES OPTICAL", as a show of good faith, we will provide replacement lenses for half price.

(C) In the event of a successful warranty claim the claim is limited to correcting the problem or replacement of the item or refund of monies paid.  The terms of which are entirely that of “4EYES OPTICAL”.

(D) “4 EYES OPTICAL” rejects and will not pay on claims for breakage or scratches to the lens or frames of any eyeglass product sold if the fault is found to be other than a Manufacturer defect.

(E) “4 EYES OPTICAL” will not accept any claims made by a client who feels that the supplied glasses do not suit them or for any other personal preferential reason!  Or where the client has ordered and been supplied with a product that the client later finds the product is not suitable in respect of size, color, or shape!  Where it was found, described, and displayed accurately on the “4 EYES OPTICAL” Website at the time of purchase.
