The Team" (Leah and Gene) at '4 Eyes Optical' have endeavored to make the ordering process as easy as possible. We have allowed our customers to customize their lenses from start to finish, using their existing frames by encouraging the replacement of their lenses. This means no money (frames) going to waste in the bottom of your drawer or cupboard. Or worse, ending up in the landfill.
To place an order with 4 Eyes Optical. You will need a copy of your prescription. If you do not have this, you can take or send this:
Prescription Request FORM to the optometrist or optical store that completed your eye exam. You are entitled to this by law.
TO START THE ORDERING PROCESS: CHOOSE EITHER:
STEP 1:
Choose the option that suits your needs and choose your frame from the available options!
1: Reglaze Your Existing Frame (For standard frames).
OR
2: Reglaze Your Existing Sunglass Frame (For sunglass frames).
Next: Choose the frame you want to reglaze from the options on the page.
STEP 2:
Then: Choose the lenses you want to reglaze your existing frame with (Click View).
Next: Choose "Add to Cart" or "Back" to start again.
STEP 3:
Then: Add any "Extras" you want on your lenses. You can have a look at everything by clicking "View".
Next: "Proceed to Checkout" and advise how you will provide your prescription details. Review order.
Then: "Proceed to Checkout" to complete the order. You cannot do this until you choose how you will provide your prescription details.
STEP 4:
Send us your frame for tracing and correct fitting of your lenses.

This form lists everything needed to place an order with us. Please print it out. Fill it in and send it along with your frames. By completing this form, we can start processing your order once we receive payment and your frames.
'4 EYES OPTICAL is a business that has been established by a couple with over 35 years of experience in business and the optical industries. With extensive knowledge from the initial manufacturing of optical lenses in a laboratory, to the reglazing, fitting, and dispensing of glasses in the retail environment and supervising and managing laboratories and retail stores for the “giants” of the industry.
This process can seem a little daunting. However, if you focus on what frame you want to add new lenses into, the type of lenses you want to add to them, and the optional extras you want on the lenses, you will have a new set of replacement lenses for your existing frame in no time.
There are lots of different frames, lenses, optional extras, and prescription requirements available. We have catered to all of it. Please, focus on the diagram above to help you through the ordering process.
WHY SEND YOUR FRAMES TO US?
We receive lenses as blanks or uncut. That means they must be shaped to fit into your frame. To shape the lenses, frames need to be traced otherwise we do not know what shape to cut your lenses. This process is the same as buying new frames except the new frame is already waiting at the factory for fitting. Our process is more time-consuming than the retail stores, however, we make up for that by offering a reglazing service that allows you to reuse old frames instead of spending hundreds buying new ones. Meaning less waste and consumption. We back up this service with local, quality lenses for the best prices. A concept that cannot be beaten.

WHAT CAN I DO WITH FRAMES/GLASSES I DO NOT WANT?
We do not want to see perfectly good sets of glasses thrown out. We want to ensure our service encourages the reduction of waste. If your frame is not snapped in the eye area or on the arms, please send them to us. We will assess them and breathe new life into them. We will then pass them on to someone that needs them. Let us work together and do our best for the environment and our communities.
